How to Restore the Destroyed Planets in Spore Galactic Edition

Published by Electronic Arts, "Spore" is a sandbox god simulator, placing its players in the charge of a single-celled organism that eventually blossoms into an interstellar race. While exploring the galaxy, your race will inevitably come upon a battle-scarred planet due to conflicts between other space creatures, or may even do some planet-busting of their own. Repairing a planet garners the favor of nearby species, while destroying one brings vehemently negative reactions.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the planet that needs to be restored to land your ship on its surface.

    • 2

Switch to the "Terraforming View" via your interface. From this view, you can see a Cartesian plane with a dot, detailing the planet's temperature and atmospheric conditions. The dot moves toward the center of the plane as conditions become more ideal.

    • 3

Use a heat ray or a refrigeration ray to make the temperature of the planet more ideal, depending on its initial temperature. Terraforming temperature moves the dot on the plane along the x-axis.

    • 4

Use your cloud generator or cloud vacuum to create a more or less dense atmosphere, respectively. Atmospheric temperature moves the dot on the plane along the y-axis.
