Directions through the Stronghold of Security to Get to the Fancy Boots in RuneScape

The Stronghold of Security is a vast dungeon available to "RuneScape" players to explore. The are four levels in the dungeon, each containing a reward chest for players who find it. At the very last floor, the chest will give the player either fancy or fighting boots, which are regarded as the most decorative boots available to free-to-play "RuneScape" players.

  Head over to Barbarian Village, which is located west of Varrock and northeast of Falador. You will find the entrance to the Stronghold of Security in the middle of the village. Be sure to bring some food along for the trip.

  Find the ladder to go down to the second level of the Stronghold of Security by heading east. As you pass through the doors, you will be asked a question about account security. After answering the question, an explanation of the correct answer will appear regardless of whether you answered correctly or not, and you will then be able to pass. There are no aggressive monsters on the first floor. The ladder to go down to the second floor is in a room located at the far east end of the floor and has two ladders. You will find a chest named Gift of Peace in the middle of the room as well. Open the chest to claim 2,000 gold pieces and an emote. Take the ladder at the western end of the room.

  Head toward the middle of the second floor. There are aggressive monsters at this floor, but they will not deal too much damage to you if you run quickly. Consume some food to stay alive if you are hit. You will find a sack called the Grain of Plenty when you reach the room in the middle. Search the sack to claim 3,000 gold pieces and an emote. Take the ladder at the northeastern side of the room to go down to the third floor.

  Run toward the middle of the third floor. This floor will prove challenging for low level characters, since the monsters here are not only aggressive, but deal lots of damage and can weaken your character as well. However, it is important to consume your food conservatively for the monsters in the final floor. When you reach the middle, open the chest named Box of Health to claim 5,000 gold pieces and an emote. Take the ladder at the northeastern area of the room to go down to the final floor.

  Traverse past the pugnacious monsters and get to the middle of the floor. The monsters on the final floor deal massive amounts of damage, and since this is the last room, consume as much food as you can to stay alive. When you get to the room at the middle of the floor, search the Cradle of Life to claim a final emote and either fancy or fighting boots. Quickly take the fancy boots, and take the ladder on the eastern side of the room which takes you directly to safety at the top floor.
