How to Fix My Video Lag on Dazzle

Dazzle is a video-capturing, creating, editing and publishing suite by Pinnacle software. Dazzle allows users to create their own movies with animations, graphics and effects in high-definition for publishing on DVD or social networks such as YouTube. Due to the high quality of the graphics on Dazzle, you may experience a lag or delay in the relay of audio or video when you capture videos on the software. You can adjust your settings in Dazzle to eliminate the lag.

     Connect your video capture device to your computer with the video composite cable.

     Open "Dazzle."

   • 3

     Click on the "Import" tab.

     Click on "Import from Pinnacle Capture Device."

     Click on "MPEG" under the "Mode" settings in the top right-hand corner of the capture window.

     Click on the first drop-down arrow underneath "Mode." Click and drag the "Datarate" value to "5MB." This lowers the quality of the capture very slightly in order to eliminate lag.

     Click "Start Capture."
