How to Pass Level 3/4 on The Settlers: Raise of the Empire

In real-time strategy game "The Settlers: Rise of an Empire", Knights are the heart and soul of your empire. They are your strongest warriors, your diplomats, your scouts, your ruin explorers and shipwreck explorers. They are also the only people able to oversee royal trading in your empire. As your knights rise in level, they will gain new abilities, as well as allow the towns they oversee to prosper. As level five is the hardest level to obtain, players often start fulfilling the goals required for level five starting at level three, causing levels three and four to overlap.

  Go to the marketplace and upgrade 20 of your retailers to the rich level by investing gold in them.

  Attract 70 settlers to your settlement. Do this by increasing food production and building entertainment venues such as taverns and baths.

  Upgrade your settlement's three main buildings, the Storage, the Cathedral, and the Castle, to level three. Move your knight over to the building to cause the upgrade button to appear. If you have enough money, you may upgrade them.

  Move your knight to the marketplace, then click the Proclamation button that appears next to the minimap. This will move your knight past levels 3/4 and move them on to level 5.
