How Do You Dispose of the Toxic Waste Barrels in Westward IV?

In the point and click adventure game, "Westward IV," you play as Anne Turner, who is trying to get money to purchase a train ticket so that she can go back home. In order to make the money, Anne must perform tasks around Main Town. One of the tasks is to collect the dumped toxic waste barrels and dispose of them.

Instructions

  Find the seven toxic waste barrels in Main Town. Search for them in the water, crates, bushes and on the land. Some of them may be hiding under bridges as well. When you find a barrel, right-click on it to make your hero or a regular citizen character pick it up. Have the character walk the barrel over to Steve Smiley, the peddler across the river, who will buy and sell anything. Steve will charge you for the disposal.

  Demolish any bridges if you find a barrel in the river and one of them is blocking your path. Walk your character over to the barrel, click on it to pick it up and walk onto the land. Rebuild the bridge, and then walk your character across it to take the toxic waste barrel to Steve Smiley for disposal.

  Build a General Store in Main Town. Purchase TNT from the General Store. Detonate the TNT on the fence of the Old Quarry, which looks like a canyon filled with gravel, to open it so that your characters can enter the area. Pick up the toxic waste barrels and carry them to the Old Quarry to dispose of the toxic waste barrels in the Polluted River.
