How to Get Points in Bejewled

In the "Bejeweled" series of puzzle games, you try to match shiny, colorful gems to create combos and get points. Matches are made from sets of at least three gems. If you want to boost your score, you need to learn how to swap gems efficiently. For example, lining up a match of five gems rewards you with a Hypercube, a special gem that destroys every gem of a certain color on the board. Getting Hypercubes and building up combos are the keys to getting a high score.

Instructions

  Look at the board to find gems that you can swap to make a set of three or more. Swap gems horizontally or vertically.

  Click on a gem that you want to swap. Click on the gem next to it to swap its position. If you make a match of three gems, you get points. The amount of points depends on your current level.

  Match four gems to get a Power Cube. Match the Power Cube to other gems of the same color to explode all gems surrounding it, gaining you bonus points.

  Make a match of five gems to earn the Hypercube. Save the Hypercube until you think you cannot make anymore matches, then swap the Hypercube with any gem you want. The Hypercube destroys every gem of that color, resulting in a massive score increase.
- 5
  Set up higher-scoring matches whenever possible. For example, leave as many gems of one color as you can on the board. When you have several gems of one color, match them to get a big point boost.
