How to Get a Guy to Fall in Love With You in The Sims 3

In "The Sims 3," a simulation game for the PC, every aspect of your Sim's life is available for you to control. You choose your Sim's looks, job and even who your Sim can fall in love with. Sims cannot fall in love without being friends first. Once you are friends with your potential love interest, you must make the first move before a guy falls in love with you, as computer-controlled Sims never make the first move without being provoked. Once a Sim is a Romantic Interest, that Sim is in love with you.

Instructions

  Select "Ask If Single" and "Ask Sign" from the dialogue options that appear when you click on the male Sim you are romancing. This lets you and your Sim know the status of the guy you are trying to romance and if the two Sims are compatible.

  Perform interactions, such as "Chat" or "Compliment," that the male Sim enjoys to raise his friendship bar, located in the bottom right corner of the screen. If the male Sim enjoys an interaction, a green plus-sign appears over his head.

  Perform flirty interactions to gauge the male Sim's interest. Actions such as "Pick Up Line" or "Flirt" can help you decide if the male Sim is interested. If a green plus-sign appears over his head, he is interested in your Sim.

  Select "Confess Attraction" or "First Kiss" when the male Sim's friendship bar is halfway full. If the interaction is successful, a heart appears next to the Sim's picture in the bottom right corner of the screen. This Sim is now a Romantic Interest and is in love with your Sim.

  Select "Propose Going Steady" to make the male Sim your boyfriend. Continue to perform romantic interactions to access the "Propose Marriage" interaction, allowing you to marry your love interest.
