Cheats for Scratches (Director's Cut)

"Scratches: Director's Cut" is a point-and-click adventure PC game with a spooky theme. Michael Arthate, played by you, is a horror author who stays in an English estate to get the peace and quiet need to finish his book. But as soon as Michael starts hearing creepy scratching sounds, he knows this is no ordinary house. Cheats and tips for this game show you how to solve the most challenging sections that it has to offer.
  1. Access the Nursery

    • Use the rope on the rusty lamp when at the top of the tower. Hammer the crack in the wall below to smash a hole in it. Place the rope in the hole. Hand down to the lower part of the tower and open the window. Click on the rope three times to climb down. Go through the window and you are in the nursery.

    Shiny Key

    • Once you have the shovel from the top of the greenhouse, head downstairs and zoom in on the hose. Take the end of the hose out of the tap and the water will seep through the grating. Use the sheers on the bush to remove the part of it that is covering the drain. Leave the greenhouse and head towards the pool of water next to the tree. Take a closer look at the water to find an object. Pick it up and you have the shiny key.

    Box Puzzle

    • You will find a box in a drawer in the manor's study. Enter the code 59097 to open it. Unfortunately it will be empty, at least at first glance. Click on the piece of wood in the middle of the box and then the latch on the right. Go back and click on the center piece of wood again, but this time select the latch on the left. Select the box itself and it will open. Your prize for solving the puzzle is the adorned key.

    Secret Room

    • Search the cabinet once you enter the chapel. Look inside the top drawer to discover a bible, which you can open. Turn pages until you see a nail. Take this and leave the close up of the cabinet. Walk downstairs and behind the altar. Use the crowbar on the metal ring on the floor. Look at the feet of the statue to see a hole. Push the nail you found into the hole. Use the crowbar again, this time on the sign behind the statue. This will reveal a secret room.
