How to Grow Wheat in Minecraft

"Minecraft" is an open-world sandbox game where the player has a variety of options for activities. For example, a player can build things, explore dungeons or farm wheat. When harvested, wheat can be made into bread, cookies or cake that can be eaten to regain health. Knowing how to grow wheat provides you with a supply of health-restoring items.

Instructions

  Find wheat seeds by cutting down tall grass or looking in treasure chests inside dungeons. Wheat seeds also are found when a fully grown wheat crop is harvested. Wheat seeds are collected automatically, if your player is near them.

  Use your hoe on any piece of dirt. The dirt turns into farmland -- the only type of land wheat can be planted on.

  Place the wheat seeds on the farmland, to start the growing process. It takes seven in-game days to fully grow wheat.

  Harvest the wheat with your hoe, when it is fully grown. Wheat that is ready to be harvested is long and brown in color. Once harvested, the wheat automatically is added to your inventory.
