How to Change Hairstyles in Dragon Age: Origins Awakening

In the fantasy, strategy role-playing game "Dragon Age: Origins Awakening," developing a unique character is part of the fun. Character customization is very in-depth, but once you make the initial choices of race, sex, class and physical appearance, you cannot change them midgame without console commands. Enabling the console will enable you to open up the character customization screen at any point of the game, allowing a change of hairstyle at any point during the adventure.

Instructions

    • 1

Create a desktop shortcut of the "Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening" EXE file. The EXE file is located in the "Bioware" folder of your computer's program files, and you can create a shortcut by right-clicking the EXE file and selecting "create shortcut."

    • 2

Right-click the EXE shortcut and click "Properties." Paste "-enabledeveloperconsole" (without quotations) at the end of the "Target" line.

    • 3

Start the game and press the "Tilde" (~) key at the top left of your keyboard to open the developer's console.

    • 4

Type "runscript chargen" and press "Enter." This will open the character creation screen and allow you to change your character's hairstyle.
