How to Get a Frost Wyvern in World of Warcraft

In Blizzard's "World of Warcraft," players pride gear and mounts over most other items in the game. The character's appearance changes with certain gear, but power also increases with enchants, new weapons and special rare items. From rare to epic mounts, the ability to fly on a creature in "WoW" marks you as an above-average player. Wyverns are one of the staple flying mounts in "WoW." The frost wyvern or blue wyvern is a wind rider that resembles a lion with wings. Different versions of this wind rider exist and add prominence to your character's appearance, especially if you purchase the epic and exotic Armored Blue Wind Rider.

Instructions

Blue Wind Rider

  Purchase expert flying from a flight trainer. Find flight trainer Maztha in Orgrimar, Ilsa Blusterbrew in Shadowmoon Valley or Hargen Bronzewing in Hellfire Peninsula. Training costs 250 gold.

  Fly to Orgrimmar and take the portal to Outland in the Valley of Spirits. Once in Outland, take a flight path to Shadowmoon Village in Shadowmoon Valley or Thrallmar in Hellfire Peninsula. Each location has a wyvern vendor.

  Speak to Dama Wildmane in Shadowmoon Village and purchase a wyvern for 50 gold. In Hellfire Peninsula, speak to Bana Wildmane in Thrallmar to purchase for the same amount. Each vendor sells the blue wyvern.
Armored Blue Wind Rider
- 4
  Purchase artisan riding from one of the flying trainers. Artisan riding skill costs 5,000 gold.

  Travel to Orgrimmar and take the zeppelin to Borean Tundra. Once in Borean Tundra, take a flight path to Dalaran.
- 6
  Speak to Mei Francis in Dalaran and purchase the Armored Blue Wind Rider. This mount costs 2,000 gold.
