How to Beat Dr. Zomboss in Plants vs. Zombies

In the final stage of "Plants Vs. Zombies," Dr. Zomboss, the leader of the zombies, comes to your house with his army of undead minions. Dr. Zomboss rides in a gigantic robot and he only becomes vulnerable when the robot's head opens. Like other boss levels, you do not get to select your plant line-up before the level begins. Instead, random plant cards scroll down on a conveyor belt and you must set up your offense and defense with these.

Instructions

- 1
  Line the rooftop with flowerpots as soon as possible. You must have a flowerpot on the roof to put a plant there.

  Fill as many rows as possible with Melon-Pults. These heavy-duty plants automatically throw huge watermelons at enemies when they appear.

  Destroy the small zombies that Dr. Zomboss releases. If you planted enough Melon-Pults, these plants should eliminate the zombies.

  Replace any plants and flowerpots that Dr. Zomboss crushes. At random, he steps on and destroys plants on the right side of the field. He also throws a van at the plants on the left side, smashing them.

  Keep a supply of Jalapenos and Ice-Shrooms. When Dr. Zomboss lowers the robot's head and spits out a fireball, counter it with an Ice-Shroom. If he spits an ice ball, use a Jalapeno in the same row as the ice ball to melt it. If you do not destroy the fire or ice ball, it takes out a whole line of your plants.

  Deploy as many Jalapenos and Ice-Shrooms as you can while Dr. Zomboss is down. Ice-Shrooms temporarily freeze his robot. The Melon-Pults help you damage him, too. After several waves of attacks, Dr. Zomboss' robot blows up, and you win the game.
