How Do We Honor a Bonfire in World of Warcraft?

The annual Midsummer Fire Festival in the online role-playing video game "World of Warcraft" celebrates the summer season with quests, rewards and excitement. As part of the festival, large flames burn throughout the many zones on Azeroth, the Outland and Northrend. Since the fires occasionally die out, each flame warden tasks eager players with the duty of ensuring the flames continually burn by offering an Honor the Flame quest. Honoring the flame requires you to reignite the flame with the use of a burning blossom.

Instructions

    • 1

Acquire at least one burning blossom. Various Midsummer Fire Festival quests offer burning blossoms as rewards, including the scorchling and torch-tossing quests.

    • 2

Accept an Honor the Flame quest from a flame warden. Flame wardens appear next to each Midsummer Flame throughout the game's lands and continents. You can only honor flames that belong to your faction, so you will be unable to accept an Honor the Flame quest from a horde flame warden.

    • 3

Stand next to the Midsummer Flame and right click the burning blossom in your inventory to honor the flame. Talk to the flame warden to complete the quest and receive your reward.
