How to: RCT3 Water Slide

Knowing how to construct a water slide on "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3" will allow you to generate large amounts of revenue during the game's summer months. Since the game's original release in 2004, its development team has released various expansion packs including "Soaked!" The "Soaked!" expansion pack features a variety of water-themed rides including water slides.

Instructions

      Open Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and select one of the game's modes from the main menu. For example, if you would like to create a theme park with no restrictions, choose Sandbox mode. After the game is fully loaded, you will see an entrance and a small pathway.

      Click the Rides button on the game's main navigation bar. Select "Pool Slides and Rides" from the list of options. A new window containing various rides will appear. Select "Standard Body Slide." The ride construction options will appear and the ride's Station portion will appear directly under your cursor.

      Use your mouse to highlight the tile where you would like the water slide's station to appear. Use an elevated area of your park such as a hill or cliff. Click to place the station. The station will instantly appear. Select "Straight track" located in the ride's construction options window. One tile of straight track will appear. Click the option again to place one more of the same tile.

      Construct the slope. Click the option titled "Gentle Slope to Flat." A gradual downward slope will be constructed on the specified tile. You can continue to click the option to create more downward sloping tiles. Click "Steep Slope to Gentle Slope." A steep downward sloping tile will be constructed.

      Click the icon labeled "AutoComplete." The game will calculate the best way to complete the water slide. The suggested track pathway will appear blue. Click AutoComplete again to construct the suggested pathway. Your water slide is now complete and able to be opened.
