Overhear Jane and Ethel singing a song as a lesson for Jane's studies. The song mentions "longest night of the year." Click on Nancy's cell phone in the control panel below.
Click on "Web" and "Internet/Browser" on the phone. On the screen you will see a list of several search terms. Click on "Why Stars Seem to Move" and read up on the stars. You will find out that the longest night of the year is the winter solstice, which is known as Bruma.
Head back to Nancy's room and look at the star chart on the wall. Click on the upper-right corner of the chart to turn the pages until you find the one marked "Bruma." Look at it and realize it matches the pictures on the box.
Turn around, go over to the box and pick it up. Click on one of the sides and it will come into view at the center of the screen. Click on it to open that side. Click on the top-left button to change the phase of the moon and pull the lever at the right to change the color. Each side and animal corresponds with one of the moon phases on the chart.
Change each side of the box as follows:
Dragon: Completely open and red
Lion: The right fourth of the moon is closed off and the color is red
Fish: The left fourth of the moon is closed off and the color is blue
Lynx: The whole moon is closed off
Rabbit: The left half of the moon is closed off and the color is green
Take the telescope lens when the box opens.
