The Quickest Way to Upgrade My Hero on Evony

"Evony" is a free-to-play, browser-based online real-time strategy game in which players battle other players for control of medieval cities and land. Hero units in "Evony" are powerful non-player characters that can be recruited to lead the player's armies into battle. Hero characters accumulate experience the quickest through battle, and once they have gained enough experience, the hero levels up. This enables the player to upgrade the hero's character statistics, increasing his effectiveness in battle.

  Build a "Feasting Hall" in one of your cities.

  Recruit a hero from the tavern by paying the hero's recruitment fee.

  Click the "Map View" icon located at the top of the game window.

  Click a game tile that you want to conquer.

  Click the "Attack" button.

  Assign the number of troops you want to commit to the battle and include your Hero character.

  Repeat this process until your hero has gained enough experience to level up. You will receive a notification when this happens.

  Click the "Feasting Hall" in your city and click your hero in the hero listing.

  Assign any unspent stat points to improve the hero.
