How to Install a StarCraft 2 Timer

"StarCraft II" is a competitive, real-time strategy game. Beating your opponent can earn you more points on the multiplayer ladder, new ranks and a spot in the coveted Top 200 list. Since it's played in real time, timing for making attacks and building defensive structures is essential for victory. In the previous "StarCraft" title "Broodwar," players had to rely on army sizes and the amount of minerals mined to keep track of the time. But Blizzard has made things easier by including an in-game clock.

Instructions

    • 1

Press F10 to bring up the in-game menu or enter the option screen from the game's main menu.

    • 2

      Click the "Gameplay Options" tab.

    • 3

Click the box next to "Show Game Timer" and the clock will show on your screen, just above your mini map.
