How to Level a Commando in Killing Floor

"Killing Floor" lets you play as one of five different soldiers, including the Commando. The Commando's job is to use assault rifles to defeat enemies, including stalkers, which are nearly invisible until they attack you. As you advance to higher levels as a Commando, you receive additional damage bonuses of up to 50 percent when using assault rifles. You also receive up to 40 percent more recoil suppression and 25 percent additional bullets before needing to reload.

Instructions

  Play through the first group, or wave, of enemies on any map. You start the game with only a pistol and must wait to purchase more guns during the 60 second waiting periods between each wave.

  Follow the marker on your screen to reach the gun store after the end of the wave.

  Press "E" to open the shop.

  Purchase and equip either the Bullpup, the AK-47 or the SCARMK17.

  Deal 100,000 points of damage and defeat 100 stalkers to advance to level two.

  Deal 500,000 points of damage and defeat 350 stalkers to advance to level three.
- 7
  Deal 1,500,000 points of damage and defeat 1,200 stalkers to advance to level four.

  Deal 3,500,000 points of damage and defeat 2,400 stalkers to advance to level five.
- 9
  Deal 5,500,000 points of damage and defeat 3,600 stalkers to max out as a Commando.
