How to Get a Sim to Move Into Her Boyfriend's House

The "Sims" video game series allows you to create semi-realistic relationships between your Sims (the characters you create and control in the game). This includes romantic relationships that involve marriage and living together. You have to work to build up the relationship, but eventually your male and female Sim will decide to break up or take their relationship to the next level. Like any action in "The Sims," moving in together is all about timing. Work slowly to cultivate the relationship so they both agree to move in together. If you make the move occur too early, it may cause fights between the Sims, eventually leading to a breakup.

Instructions

  Make your Sims spend time together so their relationship grows stronger. Use romantic emotes to make their bond grow (for example, make them hug and flirt often). Avoid repeating the same moves or going too fast and making your Sims uncomfortable.

  Monitor the progress of your Sims' relationship by clicking on the couple standing at the far-right side of your tool bar. This provides information about the couple's feelings for each other, letting you know when the time is right to propose marriage, which is when both Sims find each other irresistible.

  Propose marriage to your girlfriend Sim. If she says yes, you can have a long engagement or you can marry quickly. Select the private wedding option to get them married immediately so they can move in together.

  Review the household-transfer menu that pops up after your Sims wed. Click and drag your Sim wife's avatar to your male Sim's home. Confirm your choice and your female Sim will move into the home.
