How to Make Walls for The Sims 3

In "The Sims 3," you take control of a virtual family. The virtual person you take control of is known as a "Sim." You must manage the Sim's needs, wants and desires. You also must take control of the construction of your Sim's house. "The Sims 3" allows you to fully customize a house to your liking. Many tools exist in the "Build Mode" menu. The most basic of these tools is the "Wall Tool." The creation of walls is the first step to building the home of your Sim's dreams.

     Click the "Build Mode" icon.

     Click the "Wall Tool" icon.

     Move your mouse over an open square on the map. The "Wall Tool" will automatically snap to the edge of the square.

     Hold down the left mouse button and drag the "Wall Tool" across the lot. The wall will automatically form as you drag the "Wall Tool." Drag your mouse as far as you wish for the wall to extend.

     Release the left mouse button and stop dragging your mouse once the wall is as long as you want it.
