How to Build a Dit in MapleStory

Create a character and roll for your initial stats. Click on the die until the strength (STR) and intelligence (INT) are either four or five. Your character's dexterity (DEX) and luck (LUK) are fine at any value. Make sure you have 25 DEX points by level 10 or you will not be able to advance to your first class change as a Rogue.

Decide whether you want your character to be an STR bandit or a standard bandit. STR bandits use cutters and daggers that require STR to equip while standard bandits do not. Both kinds of bandits are equally powerful, and the choice is purely stylistic.

Distribute stat points. STR bandits keep their STR level 10 points below their combat level, their DEX level at two times their combat level, and their LUK with all the extra stat points available. Their STR is capped at 75 points, as the highest level dagger only needs 75 points of STR. Standard bandits only follow the last two conditions. Both bandits cap their DEX at 150 because the highest level armor requires 150 points of DEX to equip.

Upgrade the level of your important skills each time you level up. There are a multitude of skill-builds available for bandits, many of which can be found at the BasilMarket forum. The main focus of bandit skill-builds is to quickly maximize your damage so that you can kill mobs faster, thus increasing the speed at which you level.
