How to Find Items in the Hidden Relics Game

Hidden Relics is a point-and-click game for PC or Mac available for download. The game costs $19.99 (as of July 2011) but is available on a free trial basis for one hour. In the game, the player is a treasure hunter named Adriana who must find designated objects in a crowded tableau. Upgrades unlock gadgets that can show further objects, and there's a loose story to the game as the player progresses. There are also mini-games in which players can win rewards to make finding objects easier.

Instructions

Normal Objects

  Click on a city on the map screen to open a level.

  Look at the screen to find the objects listed in the "Lost Antiques" notepad on the right side of the screen. The objects are described with plain words such as "hammer" and "soccer ball."

  Click on objects you find that match the descriptions. The objects will be crossed off the list as you click on them.
Finding Special Objects

  Select a gadget from the inventory at the lower part of the screen. Gadgets are earned by winning mini-games between levels and are things such as "x-ray goggles" and "magnifying goggles."

  Move the small circle around the screen to look for the special objects that are now listed in the inventory notebook to the right. The circle will look like whatever gadget you've selected and only allow you see a small portion of the screen at a time.

  Click on objects as you find them.
