How to Get a Counter Attack on World of Warcraft

The hunter class in "World of Warcraft" is a ranged damage-dealing class that uses bows, crossbows and guns to inflict damage on their opponents from a distance. Though hunters are able to wear mail armor to protect them from damage, they are much less effective when dealing with an opponent at close range. The Counterattack talent in the Survival specialization tree is a great tool to ensure they can quickly escape a tough situation and return to dealing damage.

     Get into melee range with an aggressive opponent while you have melee weapons equipped.

     Fight the opponent in close range until you parry one of his attacks. At this point, the Counterattack spell will become ready to use.

   • 3

     Click on the Counterattack button on your action bar, or press the key on your keyboard that it is designated to. You will use the ability, dealing a set amount of damage and immobilizing your target for 5 seconds.
