How Do You Level Up in TF2?

"Team Fortress 2" is more than a simple first-person shooter game. When you start a match, you are prompted to select a character class, each one with its own specialties, including the Engineer, Spy and Pyro. Each class has unique equipment that you can level up to gain the advantage over your enemies. Instead of just gaining experience by killing enemies, each class has a series of challenges that you must complete to advance to the next level.

  Load the game to the main menu. Click the "Achievements" tab to see a list of all achievements associated with each character class.

  Read through all of the achievements for the class you prefer to use. The challenges for each class type are different and specific to that class. For example, if you are playing as an Engineer, one of the achievements is called "Land Grab." To earn it, you must help a teammate construct a building.

  Make a note of which achievement you would like to attempt, then join a multiplayer match. Follow the instructions included with the achievement to earn it. Once you have completed the challenge, start a new one. Repeat until your character levels up.
