Instructions
Navigate your web browser to Hooda Math's Rotate &Roll game (see Resources). Click on the game's "Level Editor" option.
Add platforms to your level. Click on the "Rectangle" or "Circle" option to select your platform's sharp. To draw the selected shape, hold down your mouse's left button while dragging your cursor across the Level Editor's grid. Add as many platforms to the level as you like.
Click on the Level Editor's "Finish" bubble, and then click on the area of your level where you'd like to place the finish orb -- all of your friendly balls must make it to the finish orb to complete the level.
Click on the "Star" option to make your level more difficult. Players are required to hit the star before finishing the level. Click on the area of the level where you'd like to add the star.
Click on the "Evil Ball" option to add stationary enemies to the level -- click on the level grid to add evil balls. Click on the "Ghost Ball" option to add intermittent threats to your level. Ghost balls will disappear and reappear at set intervals. Click on the "+" or "-" signs by the "GBall Interval" field to raise or lower the speed at which the ghost balls flash.
Click on the "Ball" heading to add friendly balls to your level and then click on the location in the level where you'd like each ball to start. You can add up to five friendlies.
Enter your level's time limit into the "Time" field. The player's score will decrease with each second that ticks off of the time, but play can continue after the game clock has expired.
Click on the "Test" button to try out your level. Click on the hammer icon when you're ready to return to the Level Editor.
Click on the "Generate" button to save your level. Click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button when the Generate Level Code menu appears.
Click on the "Start" button in your taskbar. Type "notepad" into the Start menu's search box. Click on the "Notepad" shortcut when it appears in the Start menu. Right-click inside the Notepad, and then select the "Paste" option from the context menu that appears.
Click on the Notepad's "Save" button to save your level to your computer.
