How to Do the DNA Sampler on Cryptic Island in Poptropica

"Cryptids Island," one of multiple islands available through the "Poptropica" game website, challenges players to extract DNA from a sample they carry with them. The process involves several objects in the lab in the basement of Mews Mansion, including a beaker, lab tray, developer and more. Players can progress to the next part of the game after successfully extracting the DNA with all of the available tools. The steps in the process must be followed in a specific order.

     Select your inventory. Choose the option to use the sample.

     Place the sample into the beaker. Select the object titled "Enzyme #2" and place it into the beaker.

     Select the lab gel and pour it into the lab tray. Pour the beaker into the lab tray.

     Put the nylon membrane into the lab tray. Pour the probes into the lab tray.

     Put the x-ray film on the lab tray. Select the lab tray and put it in the developer.

     Click the "Developer" button on the screen to finish.
