"Sins of a Solar Empire" is a real-time strategy game taking place in a science fiction setting. The game was released by Microsoft on February 4, 2008. Instructions

  Begin a "Sins of a Solar Empire" online multiplayer game session.

  Press "Enter" to open the in-game chat window.

  Press "Tab" to toggle to which players will receive your message, all players or allies only.

  Click inside the chat window's text box and type your message. Send the message to the selected players by pressing "Enter."

  Use tags before your text to specify specific people to receive your message. Before your message, enter "/w" followed by the player's name, to privately chat with a selected player only. Enter "/f" before your message to chat with your entire friends list.
