How to Grow Apples in Minecraft

Legitimate apples in "Minecraft" are difficult to come by. As of version 1.7.3, obtaining an apple happens by finding one in a dungeon treasure chest (at very low odds) or defeating the in-game avatar of the game's creator, who normally carries apples in his inventory. Since these options do not provide a practical means of collecting apples, taking advantage of "Minecraft's" extensive modding community is a player's only option. Using minor modding tools you can grow apple trees and stock your inventory.
