How to Change Your Inventory Hotkeys in Warcraft III

"Warcraft III" is a real-time strategy game by Blizzard Entertainment. Players must build a base, create units and wage war against an opponent. Heroes are special units that can carry items that give them more abilities. Inventory items are by default hot-keyed to the number pad, which can be difficult for some players to use during combat. To change the hot keys for inventory items, you must use a program called Warkeys and its sub-program AutoWarkeys.

Instructions

  Download Warkeys, and install both programs by double-clicking the file.

  Load Warkeys, select the "Run" option and choose "Inventory Remapper," which will load AutoWarkeys.

  Click on the tab corresponding to the inventory slots you want to change hot keys for.

  Type in the key that you want to correspond to the inventory slot and any modifier keys you wish to use for it, such as "shift", "ctrl" or "alt". Do this for each remaining inventory slot.

  Click "Save and Run Script" to set your new hot keys in game.
