How to Get the High Entrances to the Ground on Roller Coaster Tycoon

"Roller Coaster Tycoon" is a simulation game where players build and manage their own theme park. Rides are an important aspect for any theme park, but your guests will not be able to ride any rides unless there is a queue path that leads to the entrance of the ride. If you build a ride with tall supports, such as a roller coaster, the entrance will be high above the ground, which means you must build queue paths on an incline.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the footpath tool and select the queue line footpath.

    • 2

Place your cursor directly in front of the line's entrance to cause the queue tile to snap to the same height as the entrance. Once it is aligned, click your mouse to place the tile.

    • 3

Click the decline path button on the footpath sub-menu to create a ramp. Continue adding declining pathways to reach ground level.

    • 4

Click the arrow buttons on the footpath sub-menu to place additional path tiles in the direction of your choice. continuing at your current height. If the ride is very high, you will likely need to create a spiraling pathway to save space while obtaining the height you require.

    • 5

Connect the queue path to the nearest walkway. If no walkway is currently near your ride, use the footpath tool to create one.

    • 6

Repeat this process using a regular path instead of a queue path to create a walkway from the exit of the ride to the ground.
