How to Get a Record Deal on The Sims: Ambitions on an iPod Touch

"The Sims 3: Ambitions" is an expansion pack created for "The Sims 3" computer game for the PC and Mac. The expansion was reworked for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad as a stand-alone game. At one point during the game, any Sims with the musician career will need to get a record deal to move up the career ladder. Gaining that coveted deal requires making friends with the right people and having good people skills.

Instructions

  Gain at least seven friends and maintain those friendships by continuing to talk to them and hanging out. Invite them over to your house occasionally and sit with them in the hot tub or on the couch watching TV.

  Complete all the required skills needed for that level of the career. Click on the "Skills" tab at the bottom of the screen to check to see what levels you need in which skills. The level you need to reach will be highlighted in green.

  Keep your Sim's mood high. You can check your Sim's mood by looking at the bar to the right of your Sim's panel at the bottom of the screen. Make sure the Sim's mood stays as high in the green as you can. The higher its mood, the better chances it has at gaining that record deal.

  Send your Sim to work in a good mood with all its need met. Your Sim shouldn't go work tired, hungry or with low social needs. Being low on any of these needs will give your Sim a bad mood and ruin its chances of getting the deal.
