How to Rebuild Druid Rings in EverQuest 2

"EverQuest II" is a fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game for Windows. A player creates a character, choosing from several different races and classes. During play, the character rises through many levels, becoming more powerful along the way. "EverQuest II" features thousands of quests, providing a varied and extremely long-lasting gameplay experience. Some of these quests occur "live" in the game world: the "Druid Ring Reconstruction Event" concluded October 12, 2010, and all the druid rings are now rebuilt.

Instructions

  1. Starting the Druid Ring Reconstruction Event

    • 1

Travel to the first druid ring building site, located in the Valley of the Dead in Nektulos Forest.

    • 2

Approach one the three quest givers at this location. Dalarim offers a quest requiring the player to craft several items to aid the repair of the ring; Tolla Clorto offers a quest requiring the player to use combat skills in hunting down drakotas; and Elwe offers a quest requiring the player to gather motes of growth from magilith stones for use in the building project.

    • 3

Choose whichever quest giver best fits your character's skills and talk to him.

    • 4

Choose Dalarim's quest. Purchase components from the Tunarian quartermaster at the ring. Harvest the remaining ingredients from the landscape. Construct six of each of the following: Eldritch Etchings, Gabion Mesh, and Growth-Imbued Sarsen Stone. Return to Dalarim.

    • 5

Choose Tolla Clorto's quest. Find a magilith and wait until you hear the sound of flapping wings. Use the sky lure Tolla Clorto gave you to summon the drakotas. Defeat the drakotas: the difficulty of this combat is determined by the size of your adventuring group. Return to Tolla Clorto.

    • 6

Choose Elwe's quest. Find a magalith: there are three kinds, normal, massive and mega. Normal magiliths yield one mote of growth and can be harvested by one player. Massive magiliths require two players to harvest and yield two motes for each player. Mega-magiliths require four players to harvest and yield three motes and one bonus token for each player. When you have six motes of growth, return to Elwe.

    • 7

Travel to another ruined druid ring: there are seven more, found in The Fae Isle, Grove of Stones, Destroyed Druid Ring, Buccaneer Beach, Corrupted Druid Ring, Skyfire Mountains and The Deepwater Pavilion. The same quest givers and quests are available at each ring.

    • 8

Complete a quest at each ring. The ring is completed once enough players have made a contribution.
