How to Troubleshoot Jedi Academy

Since the game was made before Windows Vista was released, users with Vista or 7 may experience some issues with launching the game properly. Windows XP users may need to review their system hardware to verify that it meets the minimum requirements. Regardless of which system you use, you can troubleshoot "Jedi Academy" in a few simple steps.

  1. Windows XP

    • 1

      Inspect the game disc for smudges or scratches. Both can cause problems when trying to launch the game.

      Clean the disc with a eye glass cleaner solution and a microfiber cloth if smudges are detected. Insert the game disc in the CD-ROM drive.

      Click "Start," then select "Run."

      Type "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes), then click "OK."

      Verify that your system has the minimum requirements to play "Jedi Academy." The game requires a 450 MHz processor with 128 MB of RAM and 32 MB of video memory.

      Double-click on the desktop shortcut to launch the game. If the problem persists, continue to Step 7.

      Click "Start," select "Control Panel," then double-click on the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.

      Select "Jedi Academy" from the list and click "Uninstall."
