How to Play World of Warcraft on a MacBook Pro MC374LL/A

"World of Warcraft" has received both praise and criticism for its addicting game environment that is accessible by just about anyone with an Internet connection.   Close all programs that are running on the Macbook Pro. Arrange the five "World of Warcraft" installation discs next to the Macbook for easy access. Insert the "World of Warcraft" installation disc labeled "Disc 1" into the Macbook's CD drive. Wait 30 seconds for the computer to load the disc. The installer will appear.

  Click "Install" located on the list of available options that appear in the launcher. You will be redirected to another window. Fully read through the "Terms of Service" then click "I Accept." Another window will appear.

  Click "Browse." The file manager will appear. Navigate to the destination you wish to install the program to, then click "OK." The installer will begin to install the game onto the hard drive. Once the installer reaches a specific point, you will be prompted to insert the next disc into the Macbook's disc drive.

  Press the "Eject" button then remove "Disc 1" from the disc drive. Insert the "World of Warcraft" installation disc labeled "Disc 2" into the disc drive. The installer will resume the installation. Continue to swap discs when prompted by the installer. Once the installation is complete, you will be redirected back to the installer's main page. Close the installer.

  Visit the official "Battle.net" website (see Resources). Allow the page to fully load. Once the page appears, click the option labeled "No, Create a New Account." You will be redirected to the "Account Creation" page. Provide information in each required field, then click "Terms of Use" located at the bottom of the page. A new window will appear.

  Read through the "Terms of Use." Close the window. Check the box labeled " I accept the Terms of Use." Click "Create Account." Your account will be created. Navigate to your email inbox and open the confirmation email sent by "Battle.net." Click the specified link to activate your account.

  Click "Continue to World of Warcraft Account Upgrade." You will be redirected to another page. Once the page loads, click "Enter Game Key" from the list of available options. Type the game key exactly as it appears on the "World of Warcraft" disc sleeve. Click "Activate Game." The game has now been activated. Close your Internet browser.

  Click the "World of Warcraft" icon located on the computer's desktop. The game will open. You will now be able to play "World of Warcraft" on your MacBook Pro MC374LL/A.
