How to Kill Werewolves in Baldur's Gate 2

"Baldur's Gate 2" is a role-playing game set in the "Dungeons and Dragons" universe. Over the course of the game, players encounter and battle hundreds of fantasy monsters, such as goblins, basilisks and werewolves. Werewolves can be particularly tricky, as they have the ability to regenerate hit points. Even if you hit them with hundreds of weak attacks, you won't make progress so long as the werewolf recovers. Because of this, you must cause a lot of damage in a few sharp blows. If your characters aren't strong enough to do so with normal powers, they can turn to a magic trick.

Instructions

- 1
  Open the prayer book of your priest or druid. Memorize the spell Harm. This lowers the enemy's magic resistance to 1. To be safe, memorize the spell multiple times.

  Go to your mage's spell book and memorize an arcane attack spell. Magic Missile is particularly effective, and even low-level mages know it. Again, memorize it multiple times to be on the safe side.

  Rest so that your spellcasters can cast their new spells.
- 4
  Find the werewolf. Immediately cast Harm on it, followed by Magic Missile. This will kill most werewolves in a single blow. If necessary, cast additional Magic Missiles until the werewolf is dead.
