Instructions
Move up to your second class before thinking about tattooing yourself. As Hawkeye, you must complete the Test of the Seeker, the Testimony of Trust and the Test of Sagittarius to advance to the second class. The Test of Sagittarius, for example, requires the player to complete an archery test to prove his skills. You should be able to shoot down an eagle in flight before attempting the challenge.
Collect 10 dyes. You can use ordinary dyes if you wish, but they are not generally considered to be worth the Adena ("Lineage 2" currency) it costs to get them tattooed. Visit a town merchant to purchase dyes, or find them dropped by enemies. Go for Greater Dyes if possible. Purchase these with Ancient Adena from the Merchant of Mammon if you can. This is possible only if you were on the winning side and your side broke the Seal of Avarice. Alternatively, find Greater Dyes as weapon drops by stronger enemies such as Raid Bosses. Use Common Craft recipes to create the dyes if you wish.
Save up Ancient Adena if you wish to purchase the best Greater Dye possible from the Merchant of Mammon. Understand that the dyes always increase one stat and decrease another one. The best dye available from the Merchant of Mammon increases your skill by four and decreases another by the same amount. This costs 174,000 Ancient Adena for one, and you require 10 to create a tattoo and increase your skills.
Visit any major town and go to the Magic Shop. Go inside and find the Symbol Maker. Symbol Makers create tattoos and later can carve symbols that increase your characters' stats. Choose which stats you wish to increase and decrease with your tattoo. To increase your attack speed as Hawkeye, you must take a hit to your STR skill, which covers the amount of physical damage you can inflict on your foes. Pay the fee and get tattooed to increase your stats.
