How to Get the Amulet of Illumination in King's Bounty

"Kings Bounty: Armored Princess" is an expansion pack for Microsoft's "Kings Bounty: The Legend," a sequel to the much older game "Kings Bounty," which in turn, gave rise to the "Heroes of Might and Magic" strategy game series. The Amulet of Illumination is a quest item handed out by the priestess in the Temple of Hope on Debir Island. You can either exchange the amulet for a Stone of Hope or keep it in your inventory to raise your Leadership stat by 50 points. Before you can do either of these things, however, you will have to locate the item in the Bolo Catacombs.

Instructions

  Travel to Debir Island and speak to Priestess Pythian in the Temple of Hope. She will offer you the quest to track down and obtain the Amulet of Illumination.

  Accept the quest, and travel to the Island of Bolo and move to the southwest corner to enter the Bolo Catacombs. You cannot find the amulet until you accept the quest.

  Move through the catacombs towards the back wall. Kill the guards and sentries -- or sneak past them -- as you come across them.

  Save your game once you reach the end of the small maze of corridors. Sneak past the main R14-Gromozeka guard robot. Do not kill him unless you accepted the quest that requires you to do so.

  Pick up the Amulet of Illumination immediately past the robot.
