How to Get Alien Swarm Hat in TF2

"Team Fortress 2" is a competitive online game available only through the Steam content delivery program. Two teams of players fight against one another for points, and you can earn numerous items by playing other games and earning achievements in them. For example, you can get an alien parasite hat by playing "Alien Swarm," also only available through Steam. Earn the Hat Trick achievement by playing two online co-op missions.

Instructions

  Load "Alien Swarm."

  Select "Multiplayer," which starts a new game and brings you to the lobby.

  Press the "Shift" and "Tab" keys to open the Steam overlay.

  Open your friend's list and right-click the friend you want to play with you. Select "Invite to Game." Wait for your friend to connect to your game.

  Complete two missions with your friend in co-op multiplayer. After you complete the second mission, you will earn the Hat Trick achievement. Having this in your profile automatically unlocks the alien parasite hat in "Team Fortress 2."
