How to Resupply in Silent Hunter 3

"Silent Hunter 3" is a submarine warfare simulator that places players in a German U-Boat during World War II. Besides the unusual choice of allowing players to fight for the Nazis, "Silent Hunter 3" departs from previous installments by assigning players a portion of the ocean to patrol and allowing them to find missions in a natural fashion. After battles, players will need to resupply their ammunition, as well as replenish their food supply, which dwindles over time.

     Check your map for a neutral harbor.

   • 2

     Click the harbor. It will give you the option to end your patrol at any harbor, but you will only be able to resupply if there is a resupply sub at your chosen harbor. You will know it is there if you are given the additional option of resupply.

     Click "Resupply." It will end your patrol, but you will but resupplied. As time passes in the simulation and Germany begins to lose the war, resupply ships and subs will become more rare.
