How to Edit D2 Characters

"Diablo II" ("D2") is an online computer game developed by Blizzard. Players must create and level up a hero to fight against the forces of evil. While leveling, items and character enhancements can be found to strengthen your hero to fight through more difficult enemies. Editing a character, to give it more stats, items and skills, requires the use of an editing program, such as Hero Editor, JamellaD2Editor or ATMA. Once installed, the player can select an already existing hero or make a new one and edit it however they desire.

     Download a "D2" character editor, such as Hero Editor, ATMA or JamellaD2Editor, from a "Diablo II" community site, such as newd2event.net, d2sector.net or planetdiablo.com.

     Double-click the download file to install the program.

     Open the program and select to load or create a "Diablo II" character.

   • 4

     Edit the skills, items and stats of your character. Once complete, save and close your character file.

     Load "Diablo II" and play your character.
