How to Upload Custom Patterns to The Sims 3

"The Sims 3" is a computer simulation game that allows you to create your own Sim families, build and decorate a Sim house and create your own custom content, such as patterns. You can upload custom patterns to the game by using a free program called Delphy's Pattern Packager and apply these patterns to objects or clothing. This program requires a .dds image file format, which you can create using a DDS plug-in with a graphics program such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP.
