How to Return to the Abyssal Shelf in World of Warcraft

In the multiplayer online role-playing game "World of Warcraft," the Abyssal Shelf is a tilted stretch of land at the northeastern edge of Hellfire Peninsula. There are several elite mobs there including Fel Cannons, Fel Reavers and Mo'arg. There are quests to the Abyssal Shelf for both alliance and horde factions. This quest requires a level 58 or higher and can only be completed after the player learns to fly. Players may want to return to the Abyssal Shelf to collect quest rewards or destroy enemies and level up.

Instructions

  Locate the Hellfire Pennisula using the fastest means of transportation. Rent a beast and fly to the gate of the Dark Portal. Or you can enter the Dark Portal to the Draenor side for immediate access.

  Open the map tool using Ctrl and M. Locate the Abyssal Shelf on the map near the northeastern side of the Hellfire Peninsula. Close the map by clicking the X near the top.

  Make your way west from the Dark Portal. Stick to the main roads to avoid confrontation with wild beasts. Take the main road north from the Legion Front toward the Throne of Kil'jaeden. Head to the empty eastern side of the throne to enter the Abyssal Shelf.
