Cheats for Counter-Strike 1.6 in Windows Vista

"Counter-Strike" is a popular first-person shooter developed by Microsoft and first released in 1997. The game features two teams of players, each attempting to complete various missions and eliminate their enemies. There are more than 12 maps available, each with different scenarios, weapons and objectives. To add to the fun, there are a variety of codes available which allow you to further customize your gaming experience.

Enable the Cheats
- Press the " ` " button in-game to activate the console, and type "sv_cheats 1." Pressing enter enables cheats. Press " ` " once more, and you'll be able to enter various codes to unlock bonuses such as free weapons and extra cash. You can even change the level of gravity or make yourself invincible.

Other In-Game Adjustments
- To change levels, use the "Changelevel" command followed by your desired map name. Enter "cl_forwardspeed" and "cl_backwardspeed" followed by a number from 1-999 to adjust the speed of forward and backward movement. You can also enter "sv_gravity" followed by a value to change the gravity level.
Potential Drawbacks
- Customization is what has helped "Counter-Strike" remain popular in the gaming world throughout the years, and cheats give you that ability. However, entering cheats during game play will automatically disqualify you from any tournament leaderboards and standings for which you may otherwise qualify. Also, many of these cheats may only be entered in that particular game's host and may not work otherwise.
