How to Remove the Experience Cap in Baldur's Gate

"Baldur's Gate" is a role playng game based on the second edition of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. Set in the Forgotten Realms campaign, players journey along the Sword Coast following the classic Time of Troubles catastrophe. As with every game based on AD&D rules, there comes a point during game play where characters in "Baldur's Gate" reach the maximum level of experience they can gain, referred to as the "experience cap." Once players reach the cap, they cease gaining levels. By removing the cap, players can gain levels infinitely.

     Download Baldur's Gate XP Cap Disabler (see References).

     Double-click the Baldur's Gate XP Cap Disabler icon.

   • 3

     Click the "Browse" button to find the folder marked "Override" in your "Baldur's Gate" folder.

   • 4

     Click "OK." This will remove the "experience cap."
