How to Build Thor in StarCraft 2

The Thor is one of the most powerful ground units available to the Terran race in "StarCraft II" for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The bipedal tank is named after the Norse god of thunder, and sports powerful ground-to-ground and ground-to-air weaponry and a truly impressive amount of armor and hitpoints. This unit only becomes available later in the game, during the attack on the UNN studios. You will need to construct several specific buildings before you can start building the Thor mechs.

     Complete the "Engine of Destruction" mission, in which you capture the Odin prototype. Thor mechs will be available for use and production in the next mission.

     Construct an armory building.

     Build a Factory.

   • 4

     Click the factory and select the "Tech Lab" add-on. You will be able to build Thor mechs at the factory once the Lab is complete.
