How to Wear the Amulet of Kings on the Oblivion PC Game

"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" is a video game released for the Windows PC platform. Featuring a wide open world to explore, "Oblivion" has attracted a deep following among PC game modders. "Oblivion" modders have released thousands of modifications, or mods, to the public, many of which enhance the gameplay, storylines, and even the graphics of the game. One mod allows players to wear the amulet of kings, a legendary item critical to the original "Oblivion" lore that players are unable to wear in the regular game.

  Navigate to the Elder Scrolls Filefront website.

  Type "Amulet of Kings" into the "Search" text box in the middle of the website. Click "Enter" to continue your search.

  Click on the "Wearable Amulet of Kings" mod that appears in your search. Scroll down to the middle of the website, and click on the "Download Wearable Amulet of Kings" link to download the mod.

  Save the downloaded mod to your desktop for easy reference. Once it is downloaded, extract the files inside by right clicking on the downloaded folder and selecting the "Extract Files to" option. Extract them to the same directory by simply clicking "Extract."

  Enable the "Wearable Amulet of Kings" mod by moving it to your "Oblivion" Data folder. To do this, hit Control and A in the "Wearable Amulet of Kings" folder and then Control and C to copy it. Open your Oblivion/Data folder, right click on an empty space, and select "Paste" to move the files over.

  Open your existing "Oblivion" saved game and double click on the Amulet of Kings to equip your new wearable Amulet of Kings.
