MapleStory Skill Point Guide for Snipers

The Sniper is one of the third-tier options for the archer job class in "MapleStory." To become a Sniper, players must first progress from the Archer job to the Crossbow Man job. From Snipers, players can advance to Marksman, the ultimate crossbow job class. Because of the ranged nature of this series of jobs, it's vital to spend your skill points in the most effective way so you can kill enemies before they can close to melee range.

Archer Skill Points
- During their first job, the Archer, players have 63 skill points to spend. To optimize the player for the Sniper class, spend the points in the following manner: The Blessing of Amazon: 3 points; The Eye of Amazon: 8 points; Critical Shot: 20 points; Arrow Blow: 1 point; Double Shot: 20 points; Focus: 11 points.
Crossbow Man
- You can choose the Crossbow Man job at level 30. The Crossbow Man gets 123 skill points to spend, because you will spend more levels as this character. The recommended skill points are: Crossbow Mastery: 20 points; Crossbow Booster: 20 points; Soul Arrow: 10 points; Iron Arrow: 30 points; Power Knockback: 20 points; Focus: 20 points.
Sniper
- You will spend more time as a Sniper than you did as a Crossbow Man, and this is reflected in the greater number of skill points you will have to spend during this job. You get 153 skill points. Spend them in the following manner: Blizzard: 21 points; Strafe: 30 points; Arrow Eruption: 30 points; Puppet: 20 points; Mortal Blow: 20 points; Golden Eagle: 25 points; Thrust: 7 points.
Marksman
- The Marksman is the highest class of crossbow-based archers in "MapleStory." You can become a Marksman at level 120 and stay at this job until you reach the level cap. You will get 151 skill points to spend. Spend them in this manner: FrostPrey: 1 point; Sharp Eyes: 30 points; Marksman Boost: 30 points; Dragon Breath: 30 points; Piercing Arrow: 30 points; Snipe: 30 points.
