How to Put AR Codes on the GameCube Emulator

The "Dolphin" computer program is used to emulate Nintendo GameCube games on the personal computer. If you wish to insert cheat codes, such as the ones developed by the Action Replay device, into one of these games, you can do so easily by manipulating the properties of your GameCube software.

Instructions

  Open the "Dolphin" program on your computer. Right-click the game you wish to play in the program's main menu.

  Select the "Properties" option in the drop-down menu that appears to open the properties window for that game.

  Select the "Edit Config" button in the properties window. This will open a text window.

  Type "[Action Replay]" into the text box. Directly below that, write the description for your Action Replay cheat with a "+" symbol in front of it; for example, "+Infinite Lives."

  Type your Action Replay cheat code directly below the cheat description. Select the "File" option in the text box's menu bar and select the "Save" option. Close the text box.

  Click the "Action Replay" tab in the properties window of your game and check the code you just entered. Click the "Apply" button to close the properties window.

  Double-click the game in the main menu to play the game with the Action Replay cheat activated.
