What Level on Call of Duty: Nazi Zombies Do the Dogs Come?

"Call of Duty: World at War" -- also known as COD: WaW or COD 5 -- introduced a game mode called "Nazi Zombies." It is a survival type game that supports up to four players on each map who must survive waves of zombies during each round. Players earn points during each round to purchase new guns. Another introduction to the game is dogs. Dogs come in certain specified rounds during Nazi Zombies.
  1. Gameplay

    • Each round, the four players navigate through open areas of the map to kill zombies as they come into the play area through locations including doors and windows. Zombies drop perks including instant kill or max ammo to increase player power. The game doesn't have an ending point. During each round the zombies get stronger and increase in numbers to be more difficult to conquer. The game ends when the zombies kill all players. The goal is to try to withstand the zombies as long as possible.

    Maps

    • There are four different maps in the original Call of Duty called "Nacht Der Untoten," "Verruckt," Shi No Numa" and "Der Riese." Only "Shi No Numa" and "Der Riese" have the dogs, also known as hellhounds in them.

    Rounds

    • Hellhounds do not come at exact times during the maps. They come every four to seven rounds but are guaranteed to arrive sometime from levels four to seven. A maximum of 10 hellhounds can be on the map at one time. Hellhounds must wait at least three rounds to appear on the map again.

    Strategy

    • Hellhounds are vicious and attack with their teeth and claws. Use an automatic gun to defeat them and walk around the map in teams. It is best to back up against a wall so the dogs can only attack from the front and sides. Each person take the front, right and left sides to handle the dogs in each direction, protecting each person in the group.
