How to Stop TF2 From Running in a Window

Team Fortress 2, or TF2, is a popular online first-person shooter created by Valve. As a PC game, it is distributed through the Steam content management system. When you open your library in Steam, you can edit the options for each game. One of the options you can control is whether the game runs in full screen or in a window. If you're looking for a more immersing experience, running Team Fortress 2 in full screen may be a good choice.

     Open Steam on your computer and login.

     Click "Library," and select "Games" to view all of your installed games.

     Locate "Team Fortress 2" in the list, right click on the title and select "Properties."

     Click "Set Launch Options," and in the Launch Options text field remove the "-windowed" string of text if it is present. Type "-fullscreen" in its place. The next time you run Team Fortress 2 you will see it open full screen.
